If you are looking for some mood lighting to add a trendy, stylish feel to your contemporary kitchen, then the Illuminated Box Shelf from Hafele is perfect. A sleek, stylish design, coupled with a white downlight will really alter the atmosphere in your kitchen. A mellow piece of lighting such as this will draw attention and really stand out in open plan kitchens where you can still see the lighting from dining or living rooms.
Box Shelf Sizes
The Box Shelf also acts as a display shelf and can be used to hold tea sets, bowls, cafetieres and other decorative pieces in your kitchen. It comes in four different sizes and wattages to suit a range of applications – 450mm/8W, 600mm/13W, 900mm/21W or 1200mm/28W. Although most commonly fitted in the kitchen, the Box Shelf can also be used in dining rooms, living rooms and any other rooms where you think this type of mood lighting and shelving might work!
The shelf is sold as a complete set and consists of a T5 fluorescent tube, an integral on-off mains switch and a light fitting with a 3m bare-ended mains lead. Please note that the mains plug is not included. Also, unless you are a competent DIYer it is best to get the Box Shelf fitted by a qualified electrician.
Replacement T5 Fluorescent Tubes are available when required.
